Auburn Gets Winning Weekend Across the Board

-Bruce Pearl has won at every stop in a head coaching career that began 26 years ago. Saturday, the 57-year-old coach became just the second coach in SEC history to win regular-season titles with two different schools —2008 at Tennessee, & now with Auburn. The SEC tournament begins Wednesday, but as the #1 seed the Tigers won’t play until Friday and then of course March Madness begins next week.

-The No. 25 Tigers baseball team earned a series sweep of BYU in Saturday’s doubleheader to remain undefeated on the season. Auburn won the first game, 21-4, before closing the weekend with a 9-5 win. Auburn hits the road Tuesday 3/6 as the Tigers travel to Birmingham to face UAB and the chance to tie the best start to a season in program history.

-No. 12 Auburn completed their third doubleheader sweep of the weekend Sunday to finish the Wilson/DeMarini Classic a perfect 6-0. The Tigers improved their record to 23-2 as they gear up for SEC play beginning Friday at LSU.
