New Approach to Teaching @ Auburn

Dr. Robert Thomas and Dr. Richard Sesek were on “Auburn/Opelika This Morning” Wednesday 4/18 to talk about a different way to approach “Generation Z” in the classroom setting.  Traditional Power-Point teaching methods simply cause students to ask “Is this important, is this going to be on the test”? Instead of actually trying to understand the NEED for the lessons & information being taught. This has led the professors to approach students by supplying them with short podcasts, videos and other tools that Gen Z  students can relate to. You’ll hear all their thoughts here;
