Will Harvey Affect SEC Games?

— Forecasters say rain from the remnants of Hurricane Harvey could reach Alabama in coming days. The National Weather Service says isolated showers and thunderstorms could reach north Alabama by Tonight, with storms becoming more numerous through Saturday. High winds & heavy rainfall are possible. In South Alabama, forecasters say there’s an elevated risk of flooding along rivers & creeks starting Today as rain chances increase. Harvey is still dumping torrential rains around Houston & it’s expected to remain a tropical storm centered over Texas through Thursday before weakening & moving northeast.

The BYU-LSU game will be played Saturday night at the Superdome in New Orleans after massive flooding in Houston from Hurricane Harvey forced it to be relocated from NRG Stadium. The game is still scheduled to kick off at 8:30 p.m. Central Time.
